Great thanks Patrick, but I know this decal, because in the past I've used it on a slot car with Pactra Body, and it is really in 1/24 scale. Today I look for a decal in 1/25 scale to make the IMC Lotus in this version, but with the modern print impressions,as the Indycals decals, and with the real colors. The #17 numbers were not all black, but blue with red lines. Still thanks to your help, until other from anyone. Best greetings.

That nose marking is a logistical nightmare. If I did it, I'd have to do it twice - once for the IMC kit and once for Lance's kit... which makes it a double logistical nightmare having to do that twice.

It sure seems worth it for those of us with extra IMC kits lying around! Not sure how many extra Sellers Loti are waiting for that decal! I'd even be willing to paint the nose if the rest was done.

I think that's the first photo that I have seen of Gurney's 38 with the air intake rams installed. Those scallops would be a lot of fun for you Michael!
Personally, I'm still wishing for decals for Clark's Lotus 34............

I'm sure glad I'm not a decal maker. I'd make them paint it on.

It also looks like it has some blue flame on the tail.
That would be hell to try decaling!

How about doing the just the "YAMAHA Spl" wording in 1/18 since Carousel didn't include this on their diecast release. Must have been a licensing thing. You'd have at least one sold here!

I would buy a sheet for that car without the nose and tail scallops. No big deal to paint those.

Question for you Ooooold......guys. How good is the IMC kit?
I'd do this car, well....not soon but I think I would?.........I like challenging paint jobs - it gives me a reason to complain.

Isn't it the same kit that Testors re-issued?

Renewed interest with these new decals might give Lance a reason to re-release his Lotus 38 kit again. This one is a little different because of the injector trumpets being visable. A little trivial about this car. The last I saw it was in the car museum in Reno, painted as the "Smothers Brothers" car. It certainly would be nice if the car were restored to its original scheme.
