I've been doing prep work on Bill's Chaparral and I'd like to try some extra detail work eventually. I need a shot of the rear end that might give me an idea of what to do with it. (I know this sentence opens the door for the forum comedians) I also need a shot of the side of the car with the rear wheel off, I'd like to fashion the metal panel around the axle. Thanks

Thanks, these are helpful. It's looking like I may just do a little improvising. The tunnels look very intimidating, but I may do some detailing around the gear box area. I'll have think about it. And no, I'm not doing a WIP on it. But thanks for not asking.  John |

Calvin, what happened to the 1:1 you were building? LOL I was hoping everyone would of forgotten about that by now. ;D I still have it, it still looks cool but, its going to take some hard core money to make it roll. Plus I'm not in the mood right now to tackle fiber glassing a whole body again (I scraped the first one)....its so much work and its messy. Plus when I was a machinist I was able to build some of the parts for it and now.....its not really possible being a darn handyman.  |
