I am posting these for my father. This replicates the car Kelly Petillo won with in the 1935 Indianapolis 500.
This is an old Aurora 1935 Gilmore Special glue bomb he purchased 20 or so years ago. The body has been modified to match photos of the car, particularly where he raised the mechanic's side. The exhaust is custom-built, the wheel spokes have been thinned to give a more accurate look. He really isn't satisfied with the wheels or the tires, which are both from the kit, as they are too big. The car is painted ivory with drops of yellow mixed in. The decals are Fred Cady.
