You will not be disappointed with a Pinto kit.

I have a resin Auto Union Type A...if you are interested, let me know...it is just like this build; LOTS of scratch building...the A has a collector exhaust and canvas sides around the cockpit...I thought about the hill climb version, but didn't have 4 rear wheels... Trade? Tim

I've got a pretty big selection. Nearly all the Tamiya F1 kits; both 1/12 and 1/20. Some of the earlier 1/12ths are true first editions. It would take a fair amount to persuade me to give those up. I also have the Pocher kits (original issue as well) of the Monza 8C 2300. (I think this is nearly mandatory if you model cars!) I've had that kit since about 1973; really. I've also got the big Fiat; purchased at the same time. I've got the Heller Matra, McLaren M7a, and the Brabham BT 3. How about a nice MPC Indy Turbine? Then there are the Revival kits. I was given the Merc W154/196 and the Fiat P3 for review by a guy who had brought them back from the huge toy show in Germany. He was looking into being the sole importer at the time (1974). I got two of the Mercs and one of the P3s, but I've built the P3 and one of the W/154s. One Mercedes is pristine in the box. I also have a Revival Lancia/Ferrari D 50 and a Bug T 35. Or, there's a Lindberg 1914 Mercedes somewhere in the pile. I have a plenty of others as well. What sort of thing did you have in mind? I can also make custom metal parts for a number of kits, if you send me the plastic parts with notes. Let me tell you this: Even with something like a radius arm, stainless or polished music wire looks much better than plastic or something you have to 'persuade' to stay straight. What I've always said (Who really cares!) is that nothing looks like metal like metal looks. Oh, and those auto Unions had what would become the same suspension type as a VW Beetle. No wonder they handled like S---. Can you say bump steer? With a swing axle in the rear, I have always wondered what good it could do to put on dual rear tires/wheels for hillclimbs. Sorry for my typically long usual post. I don't get a lot of racer company these days. Let me know, sir.

Possibly more than you need, but... Patrick Sorry to jump into an ancient thread, but I'm new and can't figure out how to start a new one. My question is, does anyone have a better copy of this drawing? I can't download this one, and snipping it doesn't produce sufficient resolution to be able to read details.
