Nice start. Resilient Resins make some interesting but rough bodies.

Resilient Resins did make some interesting bodies. My Dino 246/60 body was very nice (I wish I had bought more). Tim, your Merc looks great. ( Hey wait aren't those fenders? ;D) When you finish it we should make a virtual museum thread with cars from the 50', 60's ect. for references such as model kit details.

It is the long awaited return of the "Silver Arrows" and Mercedes doesn't let anyone down... Fangio takes the pole, then wins by half a car length over teammate Karl Kling... Fangio's office... Protar wheels and tires look just right... A fun, but complicated build; lots of work...hope you like it, Tim

Nice build. The W196 certainly turned the old guard on their heads.

Super looking Mercedes! You really captured the look of this classic car. I love the post war race cars, especially the Mercedes-Benz cars. Quite an era!
