Hello to everyone

It's great to see a forum dedicated to my favorite type of car, I hope I can participate.

I've made a few open wheel models sporadically over the years. I think my first was a Lotus 49 (could it have been a Testors - did Testors ever make plastic car kits?) probably built around 1976 or so. I've made a few Tamiya kits, the first was many years ago, also probably '76.

Nowadays, I like to work on open wheel slot cars - hope it's OK to post slot car projects here.

Hi and welcome,

I've used many 1/24 hard plastic slot car bodies to make static model conversions (see my F1 posts). I was a slot racer back in the mid-60's and loved my cars to look like the real thing.
