I don't know about Boris. I've always thought of Russ as kind of a "Fearless Leader"

I believe I found what the missing sticker was. This is a photo from the AMT 1/18 69 Brawner Hawk die cast. After weeks of wracking my little brain, it hit me.....Granatelli was very loyal to other sponsors and that sponsor may have been with him in 1969. Best to all! Russ

Reviving this thread with renewed hope that one of our new members can solve this mystery (of the red/white decal just below Bear Alignment) once and for all with photographic evidence...

THANK YOU Indywoodcarver!!!!!!!!!! This has been a quest for me... Do you happen to have the Firestone RASAFE TANKS decal you could scan and post? Here is a pic on Andretti's Hawk: Or perhaps the '67 Magnaflux as pictured here? I am attempting to gather pictorial info in order to help create an absolutely correct race day sheet... Thanks again, Bill

I have contacted a friend at Firestone, who is rather high up on their corporate food chain. I sent the photo of the Andretti car. Keep your fingers crossed.
