That's just awesome, although that word comes up short. I have several questions though. How do you mask that scallop to get it so close to the decal shape? And how do you mask off the white shape on the nose? And lastly how'd you replicate the fuel filler on the lower side of the tank? I wish I could think of more superlatives Lance, it really is a work of art.

The scallops require almost no masking thanks to the Indycals decals, for the tip of the nose, I covered the front of the nose with para-film, traced the pattern with a fine point sharpie marker and then trimmed the pattern out with an exacto blade. For the fuel filler on the side of the tail, first I drilled out the hole on the side of the tail. Next I mixed a small amount of milli-putty and put it in the hole, I then use the opposite end of the drill bit (coated with Vaseline) to flatten out the bottom of the hole to the depth desired and allow it to dry. After the putty has dried it is sanded smooth at the edges. The filler coupling is made from a piece of aluminum tubing.
