Well, after month's of working, I have finally finished construction of my first ever scratch built model- The Marmon Wasp! I just can't seem to get the decals to come out right. I started with the Paper Model that is on this forum, had it scaled 39% from the 1/25 scale to make it 1/18th. After the Paper Model was finished, I covered it with thin sheets of plastic and filled the seems with white putty. I used a 1930's Mercedes for the front suspension and drive train, and used remote controlled airplane wheels for tires. That is until I can find something better. I intend on using decals for the wheel covers that came with the paper plans. What do you think? Attachments:

Great job Jeff! You could always commission Michael at Indycals to do your decals. Michael is very reasonable and quality is top shelf.

You are my new hero. That thing is awesome! I won't consider my collection complete until I have one. Oh, who am I kidding, my collection will never be complete!
Great, inspiring work there.

That Marmon Wasp is very cool, looks fantastic. Is the '92 Al Jr car a lola, or a galmer?, kinda hard to tell from your pic, but it looks like a lola.
Are all your winners in rows of three the same scale?
Would love to see more pics of all the cars in the pack if you can.
thanks!

Yes all the cars are 1/18 scale. I did use a Lola, and tried my best to make it look closer to a Galmer. Most are right off the shelf, and the others I've converted myself using Indycals and Phantom Graphics. Here are the pictures of all my cars in rows of three. Waiting on my Wheldon and Brawner Hawk to come in soon. Attachments:

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm about ready to make my track a little longer so the cars are spaced out more.
