At Mid-Ohio this year, I observed Sarah and her husband taking times of Ed in the twisting bits around the Honda bridge. They looked dismayed. Watching the Kentucky race today was exciting and impressed me. Real happy for that whole operation---as I think most of the paddock was. Hope Dollar General will stay with them next year. BTW, I really enjoy the Versus coverage of Indy Car. Pretty good pre-race and post race coverage and top production throughout. Hate to think that ABC will be covering the last race.

Sarah mentioned in the post-race interview that Dollar General had just pulled the plug on them for next year. She also stated that hopefully they might reconsider after this finish. A really good race with the "little guys" coming out on top for a change. Fantastic finish. And a USAC system graduate to boot!

Their place, with Ed in the seat, is at the ovals. I am thrilled beyond explanation for Sarah, Andy and everyone else. That said, someone else needs to drive the road races. Well done Ed!!!

That win was a big "up yours DG". Glad for Sarah, first female owner to ever win at Indycar. Someone will fund her if DG stays out. Need more ovals in Indycar.
