Difficult or not the fact that someone took the time to create it speaks volumes. Without it you would have nothing.
Excellent build Calvin!

And for the record I have built one and found it no more difficult than any other resin kit Well the one I did was hard because what I got was far from a complete kit, but I didn't mind the extra work. It taught me a few hard learned lessons on scratch building.

To basically put a positive end to this thread. No matter who builds what resin kit, its always fun to go all out and fix them up or do what ever it takes to make them look good.

P.S.- Calvin....damn fine build!!! Thanks, I just wished I had the knowledge that do now, back 2 years ago. But doing this build taught me a thing or two about being creative.

Since this is an AJ Foyt build, I wonder what Foyt would have to say if this had to do with a race related issue?

Nice Coyote....my first 500. I have the kit(I have all of Bill's kits except for a few of the 90's) and honestly it is one of Bill finest. IMHO. No it's not a Tamiya shake and bake....its a model builders model.....Bill's done the hard part you just need to build it. I've only ever seen one other kit of the Coyote...Ken Glenn...and it was a turd....that I paid for and never received.

That, Calvin, was a great WIP. Good job, that is what this board should be all about. Take Care Craig

Great job Calvin, this was about a week before my time so it is a classic to me! Holy crap, I'd better watch what I say because that will reflect on my age LOL Okay so... um... this is from before I started watching Indy but a great job - AJ would be proud!

Just curious, Does anyone out there have one of these or know how to get hold of one. I took a break from building for a couple years and missed a few of Calvin & Lances kits. I'm probably a day late & a dollar short, but thought I would give it a try. Thanks, Vernon Hayden

Calvin, beautiful job on the Coyote, a very inspiring build. How did you get the skirt on there so nicely? Looks like one of those steps that requires 3 hands. What glue did you use for the skirt? It would have to be something that wouldn't fog the acetate.

I just used windscreen glue and held it on with some misc. objects (see my windscreen pic above^) until the glue stuck.
