After a ten year absence, 47 year old Jean Alesi has announced that he will run Indy for Lotus in 2012. No warm up races, just Indy. Someone needs to have a LONG talk with that boy.  |

Lotus seems to have unlimited funds, so repair or replacement of the car will not be a problem. Hopefully, he will not be hurt. As my son says, it is better to have fans say "why did you quit" than " why don't you quit". Very few drivers have the ability to retire when they are on top. Just two of the things I admired about Parnelli Jones and Dan Gurney.
