Someone knocked my Mp4/4 off of my desk. Fortunately the only things that broke in pieces were the roll bar, mirrors, and windscreen. If someone has these replacement parts, please let me know. Thank You

Please someone help me, I desperately want to fix this model instead of staring at a pile of broken pieces

It's been my experience that parts kits for Tamiya are hard to come by, except for some 1/12 kits occassionally on e-Bay. Have you tried Tamiya directly? That kit was recently re-issued, I believe. Good luck! By the way, I'm kind of glad the pic is gone, it made me a little nauseous!

Don't give up on it yet. I got an eBay "junk yard" auction that had a bunch of Tamiya F1 kits which included a MP 4/4. Unfortunately, the pieces you wanted were not in included (otherwise they would be yours for the taking). These junk yard sales happen all of the time.

Rusty, did get a hold of tamiya, no replacement parts are available. The Model is done, there is no fixing it.

I have a bunch of MP4/4 stuff in my parts box but it seems you hit on the trifecta of parts that I can't help with. I did find the windscreen but it is damaged beyond repair.

Did you try the forums at F1m.com? IMO that would be the best place to be asking. Just kind of a side note about F1M. It has some of the best F1 Modelers in the world with a lot of leading edge ideas and products shown on that forum.

Indeed Michael, really excited. While waiting for the parts, i can get to work stripping the body of paint, filling seams, and what not. Who can suggest a good website to buy replacement decals for the Mp4 4 and how to strip the body of paint?

I'd look at E-bay for the decals. I've had good luck using Bleche-White for stripping paint. Tom T.
