Really great looking cars. Love the 4cyl! I remember my first dirt race well. I think I had to wash my hair three times when I got home. Those drivers are greatly under appreciated!

i love it! i remember the "wolf" driving the 29. my favorite sprint car driver of all time. duane wolfgang was blacklisted by many members of the racing community for his lawasuit that he won following his injuries testing when his steering wheel melted in a fire and they couldnt get him out-i believe that happened around 1990....while visiting the oppermans shortly after jan died, they had dougs picture hanging on their wall. doug was inspired by jan and was a big fan of his..and he maintained his friendship w the oppermans long after the rest of the community wanted nothing to do with him.. |
