My first bet would be on the start (duh!), and if he makes the first corner, probably won't make 10 laps!

It's definitely making Edmonton a very interesting race. I am logging into TiVo.com right now to schedule it to record since I'm going out of town.
Anyone know when and what channel? **EDIT: ESPN Sat 5pm EDT**

I think any way you slice it, it's good for the series at this point in time to have PT in one of the cars, like him or hate him. Especially for a "home game".
Should be an interesting race. I'm pulling for Vitor to finally end his winless streak. He seems like a really good guy.

They kept calling it his IRL debut.... I guess they forgot he almost won the 2002 Indy 500!?!? Paul did a very respectable job and it seemed that his team/equipment held him back some. Here's hoping he can find a seat - there certainly is some room for improvement with the currently IRL driver lineup - would be nice to push out some of the slow guys that wreck others too much! I always liked Paul Tracy despite some of his wackier hijinks. I was happy to see him keep his head down, not do anything too insane, and bring home a very respectable finish in Edmonton. It can't hurt open wheel racing to cultivate controversial characters like PT. It means ratings & ticket sales, and ratings & ticket sales mean sponsorship, bigger fields, more kits on the market, etc... If he was just a showman I wouldn't be so enthusiastic, but when he keeps his cool and resists the urge to play bumper cars, I think he's a brilliant driver too. I would like to see him get a full-time ride again & I think it would be a good thing for the sport. Although I agree, he's not nearly as pretty as Milka Dunno

Well....having to deal with Paul "The Wall" and his childish outburst for two years at Long Beach, I'd rather have a few more Milka Duno's and Danica Patrick's and I bet, so would the IRL. Paul endeared himself to the Speedway the year he cried after not winning the 500. I have seen him be rude to crew members, fans, reporters...(well that one I can almost understand) and track officials. Why do you think Penske dropped him? With all that million dollar talent, he has a nickle brain. Oh well.....let's just hope it's a short stay in the IRL and he can go wreck a few NASCAR rides.
Best to you all

Hey Russ, how long do you think Tracy would have lasted back in the day when AJ, Parnelli, Dan G and the rest were driving?

Hey 2lapsdowm...
NOT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tracy would have been whining during warm up laps at Langhorne. And if he tried to bump A.J. or Parnelli, they would have kicked his fat rump! Heck, Don Branson would have! Dan Gurney is a gentleman and would never say anything against him at the time, but even Gurney has said he doesn't think much behind the wheel. Tracy wouldn't have lasted back then.
Best to you
Russ
