I got this 248 Fujimi last spring along with some flo Ferrari red, zero paint. I have worked on this thing off and on since the spring and have lost total passion for this model. I was cutting and fitting the engine cover (which is not removable in box stock form) But after so many times I had to add filler to fix the seams or primer. I just flat tired got of the stupid engine cover and wound up just gluing the SOB back on and just have an easy curbside. I could of been a hero and made it worked but, I dont care! So here is what it looks like now. My goal is to get that zero paint on, so I can stop thinking about and so I can get this model off the shelf, so I dont have to look at it anymore. There! I told you guys the truth. BTW I know I build things backwards but I dont think so because how cant you? If a person follows the instructions on this kit there would be ugly glue seams everywhere on the body.

What a pain! I really screwed up on the paint job but I came back and saved it. 4 coats of primer (mostly sanded away) 3 coats of zero red (which I failed miserably with) 1 more coat of primer 2 coats of Tamiya bright red 1.5 coats of Tamiya flo 1 coat of Tamiya clear red 1 coat of Tamiya clear (which brought up the Tamiya flo over the clear red......dont ask me why) 1 coat of clear red to save my azz and Im done!....It is what it is. I give...... next I'll add the decals and call it good. So after alllllllll of that BS, this is what it looks like.

This one is done. I haven't really felt up to any model building lately (as most of us probably aren't) but I decided to go ahead and get this one out of the way since it was so close. This build has many-many mistakes, but oh well, some go that way. I didn't try to hard for the rest of the build just because of that. Once again this is depicted as Michael's last winning car. As the sun goes down on the end of another WIP.

This is one of the worst engineered Fujimi kits ever!! It appears you did a nice job.

This is one of the worst engineered Fujimi kits ever!! It is bad. How they designed it just doesn't make any sense. I dont know if they had to do it because of how they made their molds? But if anyone wants to build this car, just build it as a curbside, dont try spending 2 months just trying to cut off and make the engine cover look somewhat good. If I really wanted to I could of made it work but my patients was completely gone with this kit. I'd rather build easy "thick" Revell kits.
