I agree. About time somebody said it like it is.
As (justifiably) P.O.'d as he was, I was amazed at how composed he was for the interview outside the Penske trailer.

If the owners can get together and get Firestone to commit to returning, and tell Randy they don't want new body kits for next year, why can't they all get together and demand some changes to race control? I don't get it.

On talk radio in Indy it came out that Al Unser Jr. was working with BB during the race. Al said they had walked out of the booth and it wasn't raining. Question #1 is why didn't these bozo's listen in to the drivers and managers? Question #2 is why in the hell do you have have Little Al as any kind of an official? Question #3 is why didn't they ask JR driving the pace car with wipers on? Brain "Brainfart's" days as an official in Indycar should be over after the NH debacle. Will the Cowboy pull the trigger or will he use BB as a lightening rod for promotion? The whole paddock apparently has little to no respect for BB as it is.

In the news conference on indycar.com it sounded like the deal to keep Firestone another year ( 205 or 250 million dollars increase in tire cost) was also the reason for the delay in the aero package. The whole purpose to keep the cost down for teams. It was a good race a lot of passing even with all the yellows and Dario running away. Also I can proudly eat Buffalo Wild Wings since now they are a sponsor in the Indy car Series. Anybody think Mike needs to make more decals than he already is making.

I was at the race and during that last restart there were indeed drops falling but it honestly looked worse on the television than it felt in the stands.

That is the thing about rain, if a track is big enough, just because YOU can't feel any rain drops falling in your corner of the track (that includes race control's corner) doesn't mean it ISN'T falling on some part of the track. About the only thing Indycar got out of the finish was "What NOT to do for a restart" for the highlight reel.
Only thing that really sucks is NASCAR had to have a shoving match between Greg Biffle and Boris Said at Watkins Glen on Monday. Otherwise, Will Power's two handed "your number one" salute might have gotten wider press coverage. And he did it American style too, not the English Aussie style "vee" finger salute.

That was actually my point. Just because they stepped outside and felt nothing doesn't mean nothing is falling. Why they wouldn't listen to the drivers(and owners) pleading to not go green is beyond me.

Best laugh I've had all day. And it would be SO FUNNY if Will were to do that in real life.

Tonight at Macys in San Francisco IZOD held a autograph session with Mario, Marco, Helio, Ryan B and Will. All were very gracious and friendly. And next to Will was a cardboard box with a few bucks in it. The hand written sign on it said something like "Will's Angry Birds fund. Goal: $30,000". I couldn't help but laugh and Will was having a good time with it. Super nice guy.
