For my Belond, I have settled on a mid 60's Ford color called "Sunlite yellow". To me it looks like the best match I can get with a spray can. Take Care Craig

Not to confound the issue, but the yellow looks close to the Mac Tools yellow on JR's car.

Some update photos. Just finishing up the build car and producing directions. First kits will be ready in about two weeks, hopefully. Pinstriping decals can be a bit challenging and need to be done in segments. Thanks for looking. -Rick

BTW what paint did you use? I used Krylon Fusion 2330 Sunbeam Yellow over white primer. You can get it at any reputable hardware store. Not as nice as working with plastic model specific paint but it was the closest match I could come up with without mixing. -Rick

Very nice, color looks really really good, I have read krylon fusion paints can be pretty good on plastics, I've got some at the house waiting to use it on a cheap 1/2 scale bell mini helmet I am going to customize lol.

Okay folks after some delays. I'm finally pleased to release, or should I say, re-release this kit. I've got 8 kits ready. Whatever doesn't sell on the Open Wheel or the Indy Car message boards will go on ebay next week. This kit is complete with no donor parts needed. Michael from Indycals is your decal source for both otions as well as period correct tire decals. The Belond decal sheets he lists at $7 and the tire decals are $8 per sheet. The price of this kit is $75 + $5 for shipping in the U.S. Each kit will have a directions sheet, a color work-in-progress sheet. Plus everything you see in the picture below. Personal check or PayPal will be accepted. Send me a PM if you want to order. And thanks for everyone's patience and support. -Rick

Interest in this kit has been great so far thanks to the dedicated enthusiasts from this board and the Indy Car board. Many thanks to those that have made purchases. So far there have been 15 kits shipped. I have metal for 10 more kits and that will be it for some time. I'm then going to move on to production of other kits. If anyone else would like one I have 3 boxed up and ready to ship. After the first of the year if nobody else from the message boards wants them I'll be putting them on ebay.
Happy Holidays, -Rick
