Now that i brought up my sordid slot car past, did anyone else run Indy slot cars ? I'm yalking good scale cars, models of the real thing. I used to bring quite a few extras on race nite, as i was always building something new. Anytime someone would have a problem i would loan out a car or two. The most popular one i built was Bobby Grims, Herb Porter turbo Offy roadster. The guys would fight over it. Alas i lost them in a move from my last house 32 years ago, I even had " Silent Sam" a Clidinst bodied car that i could put on the pole, but always guaranteed to break something a couple laps from the end of any race! Hope this subject is OK for this forum, don't want to step on toes here.

Hi Rick,
I was limited to a few Strombecker Watson on my home track, there was nothing commercial with in 45 miles!
I did paint and detail them, but they were nothing more than the Strombecker kit. I understand Mr. Clindinst mastered the Strombecker Watson!
