Hello every one I am trying to put together a list of decals I can get to build the old Monogram Indy KK500D kit from what I can find so far there appears to be only 4-5 cars that I can get decals for. I really like Indy cars from the 40s to the 60s and I have a bunch of the Monogram kits I came across when a local distributer that was closing (I cleaned him out LOL) there was a bunch of these cars that ran in the mid 50s it kind of amazes me that so few decals have been done for this kit. So anyway if you could let me know of any decals that are or were recently available it would be nice. If anyone out there could do artwork I have a friend that has a alps printer I may do some of my own if I can get the art work done would there be any interest if I did?

I'd definitely be interested, that kit is still fairly easy to find and reasonable.

In no particular order:
#7 Pat O'Connor/Anstead Rotary Special; #99 Art Cross/Belanger Special; #73 Mike Nazaruk/McNamara Special; #16 Johnnie Parsons/Trio Brass Special; #10 Tony Bettenhausen/Chapman Roadster; #19 Rodger Ward/FilterQueen Special.
The Rodger Ward decals come in the Indy/Super combo kit but it would be nice to have some you could actually use! The kit decals are horrible. I'm sure there are more that would be nice to have.

well if we could find someone to do the art work I can get the printing done those are some I was thinking of as well and a couple others it appears not to many are interested or maybe just not many people are checking the board right now. I'm checking with someone I know to see if they are interested in doing any art. The O'Conner, Parsons and Bettenhausen cars are the ones I was looking for the only decals that I can find that have been done are these listed below.
1955 car number 6 John Zink Special Bob Swiekert winner.
1955 car number 4 Hopkins Special Vukovich
1955 car number 22 DA Lubricants
do you know of any others.
I would also like to do
Troy Rutmanns John Zink Special #53 from 1956
Johnny Tolan Trio Brass Factory Special #34
to name a couple
there could be about 20 cars from what I have been able to find if you just build the kit straight out of the box
Do you know if the Kuzma cars were about the same design the pics of several of these look to be about the same as the Kurtis car just the left side pod is the main difference?
