I just got both these sheets from Michael in the mail yesterday. All I can say is that they are true works of art by themselves! They are so nice that I almost feel bad using them! Wonderful work Michael! Question and sorry if this has been asked already. What paint out there best matches the vinyl Floro Orange? Stu

Thanks Stu. I plan to use Testors Fluorescent orange. (They just call it Racing Orange).

I'm starting the Geico Lotus. Seeking input on both the green and yellow colors. On the green, this car looks darker to me than the 60's Lotus. Tamiya TS-43 appears a little light. TS-9? On the yellow, TS-16?
Thanks,
Beans

I spoke to someone from KV during May about this. The paint code is proprietary and they would not provide any information. I can tell you the paint is very metallic and brighter than the traditional BRG used on the earlier vintage Lotus cars.

Thanks. I noticed the metallic nature of it. It's a nice looking color.
For purposes of this model, I'd just like to get the hue reasonably close. It's going to be a gift. Thoughts?

Might want to check in again after that press conference.

If you are still interested in the Lotus color I used Testors #1630 Jade Green Metallic. For the yellow I used Krylon Gloss sun yellow. I decanted both of them so I could use my own spray gun. That way I could have more control of the spray. You will need to do this for the Green for sure.
