Two buddies and myself are renting an RV and I am taking my two kids to Lexington, Ohio to view the ALS and IndyCar event in a few weeks. It will be my first time at this track. Looking forward to seeing the Le man's cars and the Indy folks in action on a road circuit. Anybody have suggestions on the best place to park the RV? We have already signed up for the golf cart!

Most of the RVs I've seen down tere are parked on the straight away between turn one and the keyhole. You can see all of turn one up thru the keyhole and most of the back straight from there. I think they also park outside the esses in the woods too. I think you'll like the facility, but be prepaired for the heat, there's not a lot of shade down there. Take the time to walk the perimeter of the track to scout photo ops. I like the inside of turn one and the right hander at the end of the main straight. Enjoy.

the only place you can park an rv to my knowledge is the straight to the keyhole. i worked for the ALMS media and Mid- Ohio in High school and college and its one of the best road tracks in the us for fan accessibility and places to camp and picnic. lots of shade on the back side of the track towards thunder valley. The best to watch the first lap is the first turn after the green flag also known as china beach. Got to drive the track with passengers when i worked for mo and its a hell of a track.

I go every year but I dont RV. We stay at a hotel with many Indycar teams and drive to the track daily. You will love it! A great track.

My wife and I will be making our second trip to Mid Ohio this year...can't wait!
Do you care to share the name of the hotel that you,re staying at?
