FYI if anyone besides Stu uses 1/18 Greenlight donors, the new ones are in a plastic tray like the old Action window boxes. Sooo the undercarriage holes to attach to the base are NOT threaded. I hate these trays so was going to screw the car to a different base. Take a 6-32 tap & thread the holes & use 6-32 X 1/2" machine screws. You also have to drill out the base holes. Improvise, overcome & adapt. ;D

Ralph, I thought I would out smart Greenlight and mount my Servia (built using a New Greenlight car) to an old base I had. After trying to put the screws in for a few minutes I realized that the holes weren't threaded. Ugh... More loss for the same amount of money! Now I was more upset with Greenlight than I was before.
Great tip Ralph. Thanks!
