Hello, I am new to this forum and must confess i am not a scale modeler, but certainly appreciate the skill and talent that is required. I am an illustrator who creates technical illustrations of race cars and I am specifically working on the winning cars of Indianapolis from 1911 to the present. I have completed each decade 2000 thru 1940 and I am in the process of working on the 30's on down. I have been looking at many of your comments and you all seem very knowledgable on the details which i think we may share a common area in the researching. Especially when photos are few and the original car may not exist. I am hoping I can ask some of you questions, get advice and submit my illustrations from time to time for your comments and critique if possible. I think i share a common racing passion and hope you will allow me to join your discussions along the way. Thanks.
