Looking For The J. Stewert Lola

Anybody know where I can find one of the #43 J. Stewert Lola's of many years gone by? It was a larger scale kit by a maker I have long forgotten.

The kit was originally produced by Bandai and is 1/16th scale and came with a motor. Later versions were made by UPC a were still motorized but the motor was sold separately. It's a fairly nice kit and has nice tires. The gearbox is crude as well as the four cam Ford but has potential. The contingency decals are scary oversized but the rest are ok.

I see the kit on ebay from time to time. You just have to look every day and one will eventually come up.

www.gasolinealleyantiques.com usually has this kit in stock and many more Indy & F1 kits, but the prices can break the bank.. some are reasonable but some are out there.. Just depends on how bad you want it or if being out bid at the last second pisses ya off!!!Chris

Can't tell you how many times being outbid at the last second has pissed me off! Thanks for the information. I do remember those tires being of a high quality.

Have many of you folks ever bid on www.gomotorbids.com? I have scored some nice plastic and diecast over the years from them.
Wow, gasoline alley has a #43 for $179+!! Too salty for me right now!!

I am currently working one of these. There are many things that need reworked on this kit but the wheels, tires, and basic body are decent. I got mine on Ebay for under $50.00 including shipping several months ago.

The also have a brabham in the same series.
