Wow. Wish I had the tickets to see that one live as it looked like a really fun race. Too bad for Will Power (Penske pit woes continue and I knew WP had a concussion since he was a little out of it during his interview), but it was refreshing to see to mid-pack runners overhaul Dario. Marco Andretti drove inspired tonight! And I like'd TKs response after the race concerning the block Marco put on him. He didn't like it, but he understood it was for the win (got that Dario?). At least Dario kept his own mouth in check at the end as he knew he got beaten hands down by some better cars that night. Say what you will about Dario though, the guy is tenacious! If he is in the lead, he really doesn't like to get passed at all.
It was also nice to see Sato strut his stuff for a bit until he backed it into the wall. I have to admit, while success for Japanese drivers on American and European race circuits has been few, Sato at least knows how to drive. If he can only keep from crashing and keeps a good car under him, he could finally win a race or two.

As Bobby Unser would say "I can't remember the last time I've seen racing this good!"

Loved it when Michael said Marco "schooled" Kanaan. Dario..."we're only half way through the season I'm not worried about points." 3 weeks ago...."we got hosed, if we lose buy that many points I'll be pissed.'(after Texas race). My a$$ he's not worried about points. Observations....Danica needs to practice restarts.....Iowa is why we liked to see more oval racing....missed Ashley stating what a "gentleman racer" her husband is....keep extra camera on Kimball because he's bound to be in the middle of something.

Speaking of the Kimball incident. One thing that rubbed me wrong is that they were saying that he shouldn't have been on the far outside lane and darting into his pit like he did. Well, the week before Scott Dixon did the exact same thing (collecting Sato who was inside him) and they gave Dixon a free pass!

One of the best races I have seen. Congrats to Marco & TK.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Kimball is involved in about every incident?!?!?

That was a great race - Indycar posted a 40 minute highlight video, it was well done (except for leaving in a radio commercial but that's a minor gripe).
Marco really earned this one - he looked like that racy kid we saw back in '06

I thoroughly enjoyed that race. It had all elements to it; a pole winner NOT form Penske or TCGR, a night race in a bull ring, good racing sometimes 3 wide, passing and best of all, Marco finally regaining a winning form. This is what racing is supposed to be and I hope it continues.

There is no better racing anywhere in the world. Iowa was a beautiful, exciting race. Here's hoping they will fix the bump in the corner. I just loved Will's comments afterward. It was obvious his bell was rung but his candor was refreshing. He was right too.

You're right Steve. Penske could have saved itself a lot of money had they just parked the car. Could have saved Will's head too! I for one was rooting for TK but was very happy for Marco. TK's gonna win one before this year is out. (I hope!

Great race, wish I would have made the banzai run to Iowa. Maybe next year. Great to see TK running as strong as he is with his new team. Not a Marco fan myself but it was good once again to see anyone but ...... Getting tired of listening to Dario run his toilet. Its not about points, blah... my pit crew didnt get it done... my car wasnt right. Man up you got beat! TK was faster, Andretti was faster, Dixie was faster. Take a page from TK a class driver, funny and a great representative for the series. Loved the under the lights this year. Good to be back at a race in Milwaukee too, but the fans were definately not there. Maybe they should hold the race during the state fair.

Thanks for the heads up on the video. We were doing our one celebration at Blackhawk Farms at that time. Glad I got to see it.
