I think it's safe to say that drivers of that era walked that fine line between incredibly brave and full-on nuts.

That to me is absolutely gorgeous stuff. This two tone Winfield Ford, sets me absolutely wild. I would not change one thing about it from what I can see here. I love the wheels and tires, twin carbs with angle cut velocity stacks, and just the overall vintage look. That is one smoking hot race car.
I wonder if a similar racer could be built from the recently reissued double 25 T kit from AMT ? Huuummm ?
