I remember reading somewhere in this forum that Italian Red matches Indycals '64 winner decals perfectly. What I don't remember is the brand of Italian Red. Testors or Tamiya? Thanks

Which red section? The nose swoop on Super Tex's '64 car is a candy/pearl red. Then there is the small flour. red point to the nose.

The nose. The decals I got aren't candy red and I didn't get the flour. red point either. My decals are just brite red. Incidently, the decals I got for the 63 winner don't have the white that divides the red stripe from the blue nose. Any help with this would be appreciated. I'm so needy aren't I? Thanks for jumping on this Mongo.

I don't know about Tamiya paints. I don't have a local source so I have no experience with their sprays. These models built by Russ are real, real close on the colors..... Mongo

Any chance you can share those colors with us?? (especially since I am doing Lance's '64 conversion next and am getting ready to order the '63 conversion) ;D Mongo
