I built this one a little while back. I always wanted to start a collection of Indy cars. And when this kit was offered to me, I jumped on the chance to give it a shot. I managed to royally mess up the decals, so I'll have to fix that some day. I am currently working on my second, the Provimi Veal Lola T-8800 Jody

As I've been reminded, we are often our own worst critics. I think it would take quite a bit of scrutiny to find even a minor "decal screw up." Certainly nothing royally! I'd call this an exceptional first build. Actually, if you hadn't said so, I'd have guessed that you had several under your belt to have one turn out so nice! Well done, sir!

Looks nice! And timely for me too , since I just started that kit the other day...
I'm curious, what paint did you use on it?

Model building seems to be fun again. Would you believe that is Krylon Gloss Sun Yellow? Applied over primer. My airbrushes are in hiding right now, so I'm brush painting and using rattle cans for the time being. Jody

Great job. Glad I don't have pictures of my first indy car , way back when I was pre-teen the 1967 turbine and Rislone Special. Wish my mom hadn't thrown them out when I got older. My Scott Brayton Speedway /Amway car doesn't come close to being that good. Great job!

I like it! If my 1988 Emmo March Indycar looks close to that good, I'll be happy.
