I noticed in the museum that the Domino's car had a black line separating the red from white, and the white from blue. ... at least that's how it looked. On Sunday I got up real close to the car and noticed that the demarcation line between red and white was deep red, and the demarcation between the blue and white was deep blue. My decal sheet has since been updated.  |

In other words, there is now a slight margin for error on those tricky vertical paint lines now because of the new "stripings"?

Not much. It's a very thin line. So thin that it pretty much went unnoticed for 20 years.

Crap... I just noticed something else going through my photos. The word "Domino's" was also outlined in dark blue or dark red, depending on which background it was on.

I know you're all about historical accuracy, but honestly your original set was pretty darn good. I think I bought a set but I don't have a 1990 Lola to use them on.
