Great Weekend at the track

Had what has been one of my most memorable weekends at the track ever.Spent the better part of 2 days hanging out with everyone's favorite decal maker Michael. Went out to dinner and talked racing and models for 2 hours.What a great person. I felt so bad when he told me his tickets went missing. Had the chance to meet other model building fans.

Hanging out in the Sam Schmidt Motorsports garage on Pole day..What an expereince. Kicked back in the Impact Racing garage for about 30 minutes with my favorite driver ever Buddy Lazier.

Delivered a model to Jaques Lazier. He loved it !! Thanks to Michael for taking the picture for me.


All In all a great week end .....Now really looking forward to next week at the track! Here are 2 pics from the weekend.

I enjoyed it too, despite my ticket issue. I'm handling it better than I thought - must be my pragmatic side - don't stress over anything I don't have any control over. I still have tickets from 8 of my 500s (9 counting this year). BTW, Eric, did you ever finish your pork tenderloin?
