I took the Carousel 1 Sam Hanks car and converted it into Jimmy Bryants 1958 winner using Michael's great decals. I wanted to also add a seated driver figure so I cut up a GMP Mark Donohue figure and used his chest and modified his arms & legs. I then used the 1/18th open faced helmet from a Tamiya sportscar kit. I cut the face out and scratch built a new face with milli-put. Then I drilled a hole in his mouth and glued in a cigar I made out of JB Weld. Last picture shows the car completed with the roll bar I made out of solder and the scratch built googles. I also made a drink bottle out of JB weld that Jimmy is holding. Stu, Carousel One did the parts for this car. There is a "elbow guard" piece in front of the rear wheel, I will see if I have one.

Thanks Tom. I missed that and see what you mean. I bet that elbow guard was a nice add on for Bryan. Can you imagine scraping your elbow against a tire going 140 mph?
