I will see them this weekend. I like the looks better than Ben Bowlby's prototype from last year. It looked like a land speed reccord car.

Actually, they have road course version on page 1. On page 2, they have both a road course and a speedway version. I don't car for the speedway version as much.

Love it and can't wait to get to the speedway and see it in person.
It's now officially the month of May at my house. Got the 500 flag on the house this evening.
This is going to be a great mouth of May now lets hope the rain stays away!

You're gonna be a busy beaver when the new design comes out. You'll be doing two sets for each car. On the other hand, whoever does a resin of that car, he will be very happy too! |

I like the full scales a lot better than the drawings. They still have some features that look like of blah (downward sloping sidepods?) but overall it is not a bad design - certainly a better step than the '07 COT :-D

I'm starting to wonder if the airbox is simply to standardize where to put the in car camera. Although I would think there would be better ways to do that.

The problem with that is that I don't think everyone will utilize a stand alone roll bar. It looks like the rules are open to make it look like CART days as well as the design we saw yesterday. I don't know. I'll look them over this weekend.
