It has been a long time since I have had time to build anything. So I decided to complete a buch of die-cast cars I stripped last summer. With Indy coming up and it has been quiet around here I thought it would be a good time to post this. These are all Hotwheels 1/24th scale cars. With some painting completed you will be able to start to tell which cars they will be. I think the Hotwheels wheels are terrible. I used wheels from the Revell reynards in the past on my builds but did not what to have a bucnh of Reynards with no wheels. To address this I decided to cast my own wheels. I cut the face off of the Hotwheels wheel assemblies and then cut the back half of the wheel fronts from the reynard wheels. Measure the to until they were the correct width. Will cast them and the attach the front to the backs so they will be 2 pieces wheels. I will post pics of each car in their own thread for the remainder of the builds.

About the wheels...I can sell sets of them. They work out really nice as they are direct replacements for the Hotwheels wheels. The first couple cars I did I used the Revell Reynard kit wheels. That took alot of modification the the hubs and rear axle of the Hotwheels cars. With these resin replacements it's just take out the original wheels and replace with these. Let me know how many sets you might need. Sent me a PM and I can give you some other tips also about them.

How much Eric? I have 5 Hotwheels cars, so I may want up to 5 sets.
