I need some advice. I suppose all of us have closets full of unbuilt models most of which we will never get to. I much perfer selling some of the kits that I no longer want or need in this forum rather than on ebay because I know they are more likely going to people who care about them and the sport. Probably naive but please let me believe that anyway. I need advice on how to price them. For example, I have a 1:12 Tamiya Lotus 49B. The box has been opened but the interior packages have not. It is complete and pristine including the electric motor. How do I sell these in a fair manner? Fair to those wanting to buy it and fair to me? I really would like your suggestions and comments. Thanks, Jim

I base my prices on my knowledge of what particular or similar kits sell for. However, that's hard to keep up with, watching e-Bay can help altho the auction format sometimes can artificially inflate prices over what the "average" buyer would pay. That said, I may also price a kit that I really like or might actually build someday a little higher than the "norm", conversely, a kit that I have no interest in or would never build or have many multiples of, I might price lower to be sure it gets out of my way. Price them where YOU are comfortable, post the list here and first come, first served! It really works pretty well. Hope this helps! Also, I'd be interested in that Lotus!
