Hello all, Could any one give me an idea on what cars to start with to make Graham Hill's 1966 and Bobby Unser's 1968 winning cars for 1/18 scale? Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff, A 1966 Graham Hill Lola is possible using the Carousel 1 Lotus 38 as your donor car. Several mods to the outside of the cockpit, nose and tail have to be made but it is possible to get a good replica Lola using the Lotus. Below is my 1966 Rodger Ward Lola. Rodger was on the same team as both Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart except Rodger's car was Offy powered. I did this conversion using the Carousel 1 Lotus 38 which in all honesty is one expensive donor car. It's my goal (maybe this summer) to do both the Graham Hill car and the Jackie Stewart car. As for the 68 Bobby Unser. That's the million dollar question. What can be used as a donor car? That's one I am still trying to figure out. We may just have to wait until maybe someday someone produces one. Thanks alot for the imput. The sad part is I got my Lotus at a place called Gearheads in Clairmont, Indiana after the Speedway dumped the line of cars, for $45.00. I thought about buying another one, but I'm just not that smart.
