I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to oval track racking, but I've taken a lot of photos at vintage events at Lime Rock Park and I've got them in an album here s46.photobucket.com/albums/f105/felixdk/Motorsports/Open%20Wheel%20Other/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ36 Some of them had the information on the cars included in the displays, but names, dates etc. would be welcome if known. Regards, Don

Don thank you so much for sharing your archive of mouth watering vintage open wheel cars. I have your link in my favorites now.
The last photo on page one, really caught my eye, the motor specifically. I'm by no means an authority, but it looks to me like it may be a side valve, straight eight, with four side draft carbs Packard.
Man that is cool hot rod stuff. I can only imagine the sound of that baby at idle, and at full song, considering how great a full house V/8 flat head Ford sounds ! ;D
Thanks again for sharing.
Best regards,
Harold
