GP of China.
I dont recall seeing so many passes around the whole track! The most impressive thing about the race is NO one messed up by crashing doing so!
I hope the indycar drivers take note of this for todays Long beach race.

Excellent Race, I think F1 may have found the magic formula of car, rules, drivers, etc. I was noticing it all coming together over the last couple of races. All forms of racing should take notice!!!!Chris

Nice to see the race decided by on-track passing. And how about Webber!? 18th - 3rd!!!!

And how about Webber!? 18th - 3rd!!!! That was the most impressive drive of the race. Even with his typical broken "Weber KERS"

Scarey to think the RB7 is that good without KER's. I think now we are 3 races in to 011 the other teams are starting to get it together. I also think Sauber will start being on the Podium on a regular basis. Ferrari is going to build a whole new car and will be competitive in 3 or so more races. McLaren will do a major modification or even a whole new car soon. Williams is toast they cant catch up now We may see the end of this longtime Marque. Look for Lotus and team Lotus Renault to also be on the podium more. Just my usual F1 babble.....Chris

A very entertaining race. I dislike all the "gimmicks" that F1 and Indycar seem to feel are required, but as usual it all boils down to tires. It is interesting that Webber's KERS never seems to work, while Vettel seems to have very little problem with his. Red Bull has no problem, unlike the other teams, in determining who is the #1 driver. It will be interesting to see how Vettel fares after he gets "beat up' a few times. A hard crash usually makes a driver a little more respectful, and sooner or later they will all have one. Take Care Craig

This was probably the best F1 race I've seen in a long time! I didn't even once fast forward through the race waiting for something to happen!Battles all through the field, Passing left and right, (Litterally) and only one car out at the end and that was because of sloppy pit work. I think Red Bull would be better off just loosing the weight of KERS on Webber's car and I am sure he would move up in the field. Perelli has to do something about the tire situation. They are dogs. Even though it makes for an aditional challenge for the teams and drivers, at least the bridgstones were relatively trouble free. If I might digress. This weekend was a double treat what with Long Beach running today as well. My home town! I was in the stands for the inaugural F5000 and F1. Here are some pics of the F1 Pits, My how times have changed… These were the days when you could run around in the pits and work on the car without a shirt. Yes, that is Emo. in the first year of his own Copersucar team. When was the last time you saw someone rebuild a F1 transmission on the pit wall? Let alone a F1 Transmission that you could rebuild on a pit wall! Hope he got it back together right what with all the pit lane distractions. It looks like an exciting season ahead! Race On!!! John
