Here's something for a little break: Revell's new midget built up as driven by some guy named Parnelli Jones in 1957. ;D This is the Edelbrock Ford version, I do have an Offy one, but I can't decide whose to build. The different grilles might be a challenge there. I won't say these kits are "shake the box," but they are awful darn nice. One of the nicest kits of any topic I have ever built. The few minor flaws you have probably read about are true, though. The parts are wonderfully designed, but fragile. I did break the kit tie rod and had to replace with some rod I had. And the pins for the wheels are too long, as noted in Scale Auto. Rather than try to cut the pins (they are small, and metal), I bored out the holes a bit, but the wheels are still slightly wobbly. But, I'm still happy with it. And in keeping with my tradition of trying something new, I used Duplicolor paints. I know, can you believe I hadn't done that before! Decals are from greg's decal graphics. Fast, cheap and easy to use. Doesn't get any better than that!

At the Cincinnati show today someone was selling several different decals for the Revell midgets. I remember they had Parnelli set and Duke Nalon, Tony B. plus a few more.

There are a couple guys selling sheets. I'm trying to get one of them to print some late 40's decals from New England racers.
