I obtained a Tamiya Jordan 191 for a song and am wondering about the correct paint to use. At this point, I am a rattle can guy. Usually Tamiya has a paint number for everything, but in this case it only says "body color".
I always thought this was one of the better looking F1 cars from that era.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm thinking TS-35 Park Green and TS-44 Brilliant Blue.

Thanks. That looks about right. I figured Park Green might be off a bit or I would think Tamiya would have said "Use our paint!".

It's a beautiful car. I would rate it second behind the March CG901 for best looking car of the time period. I'm sure you're right that they would specify a colour if they had one but for rattle can options they are pretty close.

LOL Man that thread makes me want to quit. But seriously, IMO the Jordan 191 has to be one of the most sexiest shaped f1 cars ever.....It had to be a coincidence that its Eddie Jordan's car. (Eddie likes hot Women )

Thanks for the link - that is one amazing build. Hopefully I can use it as inspiration, rather than despairing over how much I am lacking in skills.
And I also always loved Eddie - and his yellow clad B&H girls. I miss him. F1 needs characters like that. Flavio was like that too, though more arrogant.

Geez, that guy might as well build a REAL car! Amazing work! I do a lot of scratchbuilding, but not at that level! My Jordan will probably be built box-stock.
