a scott goodyear 1998 maisto and a 2001 action dallara. the the top off of the maisto and took the air intake and top of the action engine cover and melded them. then used squad to fill in the gaps and sand it down several times. cut the rear kicks off the side and used squad to fill it in.

Some of the best paint jobs came from John Menards' cars. Maybe he got them off the shelves of his stores! Nice work.

the wings and rear wheel kick up are from a 2001 action speedway dallara. the cockpit surround is styrene with squad on it. the wheels are from a ut scott pruett reynard along with the front hub assemblies. Thanks guys i had to take some time off from making them due to health reasons and the fast that southern ohio had some of the coldest weather its had in 50 years causing my pipes to burst and had to go to the studs in our bathroom. All in all very happy with it... up next 1997 stewart and buhl and a 2002 lola silver green tracy lola.

Thanks again guys... feels good to get back to work but on the dismore lola the wings are all made out of styrene and modeled after 1993 lola minichamps speedway wings. the hump is water weld epoxy putty covered in squad. the water weld is a white and cures in about an hour and is super strong. The main reason i use it is because it takes the squad putty and will not crack or chip when i drill the pop off valve on the top of it. i have one more of the hump cars on the bench and its going to be scott brayton's #32 pole day car. i will post progression pics soon.

Are the 1995 Menards cars 1993, 1994 or 1995 Lolas? I just knew they were not Reynards.

Gorgeous cars! My all time favorite was that 1995/1996 Menard. I don't know why, because it's weird but they just look so sharp!

Sorry for the late reply but i used Pactra polycarbonate fluorescent yellow RC279 with 3 layers of white primer under it. from rust-oleum. The green is forest green from tamiya and the red is tamiya fluorescent red ts36
