IMS has invited all living Indianapolis 500 drivers to Indy this year for the 100th Anniversary. They are also extending the invitation to anyone who owns a car raced by some of the more prolific racers that they drove on their way to The Brickyard.

I went to the IMS Museum yesterday to see the winner's exhibit. It was worth the trip and then some! About half of the cars on display are not part of the IMS collection and this may be your only chance to see some of these. Sad to see that some of the really important cars; one of the Blue Crowns, the 1952 Ajaganian, and the 1956 Zink, are not even close to being historically correct. Just glad they still exist. We all need to attend as much during the month of May as we can. Jim

For those of you who can't get to IMS for the 100th anniversary race, Sports Illustrated has a special issue on the newsstands now. It includes an official 100th Anniversary Program as well. (1 of 3 covers. The other 2 are only available at IMS) Price in the US is $14.99.
