Lance, am I correct when I see the Foyt car as pearl white and the Sach's car as plain white? BTW, they both look great.

No it is not to late to order the Watson, I will make them as long as there is a demand for them. Yes the Foyt car is a pearl white. I primed both cars with testors white lacquer primer ( a very good substitute for the impossible to find Tamiya primer). The Foyt car was then painted with testors white lightning pearl coat (also a lacquer), after this had dried I masked and painted the nose with tamiya's Italian red, a perfect match to the red decals! The Sachs car was painted with tamiya pure white after being primed with the testors white lacquer primer. Lance

Those are awesome! So Lance, feel free to shoot me a PM if you prefer, how much are your kits? And is the Old Calhoun (the car, not Russ) the same car as the Foyt?

The Watson kit runs $105.00 and the 1958 parts set and the 1961 parts set are $25.00 each. The 61 Foyt car was a Watson copy built by Floyd Trevis with a Trevis chassis and Watson body panels. The 63 Watson of Jones would have a lower profile nose and engine cover (the reason for the large blister in the body work over the engine) . Lance
