Hey, I just wanted to plug my friend Derek Collins who is making resin F1 tires, both rain tires and slick tires. His most popular sets are for the Tyrrell P34 - if you've ever built the 1/20 kit you know those front tires suck. And with Tamiya releasing a Japanese GP version (which ran in the rain) without rain tires, his sets are invaluable to whichever P34 you build (or have built). He will also be doing rain tires for the Fujimi Lotus 97T - if you have that kit you know the kit rain tires are all wrong - they are too square with a concave tread profile. Anyway, his website is www.iconautomotiveminiatures.com/ - check out what he's got to offer.

I'd like to get his full rain 2004-2008 BRIDGESTONE for my future Fujimi Ferrari 248F1 That Im going to depict Michael Schumacher's last career winning car of the rainy 2006 GP of China.
Since I've been messing around with resin tires I'm a total believer in resin tires now.....A person can make a resin tire look really good.....also applying the indycals tire decals look really good with a clear dull coat on the side wall.

And if you ever need to paint resin tires Duplicolor Flat Black looks so much like tire rubber that you'd swear you were looking at real tires - much more so than any 'rubber' tire that I've ever gotten in a kit.
