I think I'll enjoy myself and go have a root canal done! Maybe I can have someone pull out my finger nails while I'm watching the race! We did have Rusty Wallace, now we have Wally Dallenbach, Jr. It's bad enough trying to institute NASCAR rules.....can't they find some poor ex-Indy car driver to commentate?

I like that fact that Robin Miller is involved. Like him or not he is a wealth of Indy Car history that dates back way before the split.
If he can report the race without bringing up the past I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised. That said, I know he has it out for Brian Barnhart. If he can bite his lip when BB makes stupid calls like single file starts for the Indy 500 then he will do ok. I have a feeling that will be tough.
I am a fan of RM but I will not tolerate bringing up the past. Time to move forward.

I'm with Stu, I'm not sure that I'd get along with Miller on a personal level, but he does seem to have the inside track on Indy Car info.

Like Jack Arute, I will TIVO the races and FF through RM's segments. As for his so-called "inside track", let's just say that a lot of what he says is fictional and then he sells it. I've seen his act since 1969 when I met him. Don't drink the RM Kool-Aid.

I agree that Arute is a tool. I will never forget last year when Mario Andretti is presenting Will Power the Road Course award. He doesn't even let Mario speak! He was too busy flapping his own rambling jaws.
I think RM is a step up.
