Isn't that crap? Keep an eye out for long mysterious yellow flags next. All that's missing is "Have at it boys" Stop the madness!!!!

www.indycar.com/ - they're running a poll on this subject - please make your opinion known... unless you are in favor of it, then please skip the poll

Well, that really sucks! Typical attitude in our society today, you don't have to earn anything the hard way, just whine and it will be given to you. F1 is going to have artificial rain, too, if BE has his way. What's next, WWE-style driver uniforms? Oh well, I'll just crank up the stereo and listen to my classic rock LPs while I build models;)!

Voting is running 40% for and 60% against at the moment. Not a landslide. We need more no votes!

Brian, I'm with you on everything you said. When I "Crank it up" it'll be classic rock!

I'm ok with making a reason for lap down cars to be racy. I am NOT ok with copying anything that NASCAR does. So for that reason alone I am against it.
I DO like that green flags won't be done in turn 3/4. I always thought that was bs and stupid. About time they got that fixed.

I love most forms of motorsports. One of the great things about Motorsports in general is how different each form of racing is. More and more the other forms want to start coping Nascar. I like nascar but I dont like Indycar trying to copy nascar.

It's running about 20% for, 80% against now... Let's hope it stays that way.

One of the things that I and others have found exciting about Indy car racing over the years is the history and tradition.
The long build up to qualifying and the race, watching every day to see what happened and who was fastest, Milwaukie follows Indy were things that kept me drawn to the sport.
Bump day was one of my favorite days in all motorsport. I remember Arute trying to interview Herta on pit lane moments before the gun, as he was about to take AJ's car out at the last minute. He was so nervous he could only spit out one word answers. Man, that was REAL drama. I don’t even know if they still have bump day. I know, I’m preaching to the choir here. I’m going to see if I can vote again.

Just voted, and stuff like this is why I quit going to Indy, and don`t build anything past the 80`s. They lost me when good drivers had to sit and watch ,while no-names with a pocket full of money had the rides. Most of the field now couldn`t carry Foyt`s helmet bag.
