This is what I have been working on during the off Season. It is based on the Testors / IMC Lotus 38 with a LOT of scratch building and donor parts from the MPC 68 Eagle. Most suspension parts had to be significantly modified to make them symmetrical. Since building this prototype I have made masters for all of the major components so that it could be reproduced in resin if anyone was willing to take that on (resin casting is not something I can do). I have WIP photos that I can post on a later date if there is interest. Mike

I agree on W.I.P. photos. This is a project that I have long considered, but the suspension work has always deterred me.

Anyone going to cast it? Looks like such a good model to pass up the opportunity. Nic

Those rear engine cars of the late sixties were so beautiful. You've done a fabulous job, I'm with the guys on the WIP.

Thanks for the kind remarks - I did post a WIP, it's the last post on the "Build-O-Rama list. I hope it is helpful. Don't hesitate to ask questions if needed to compete your build.

I just revisited this post and I'm somewhat saddened nobody was willing to take this project to the next step and cast the parts from Mike's masters.
