Thanks, I've Googled this to death (I think) and I'm scanning the big photo sites. Good pics from 1979 and 1980 are hard to find on the internet Any help would be greatly appreciated! Jordan

I'm sure you have these but I wanted to see them on the screen!! Any of these would be great!! I just can't see myself building the Mears'79 winner... Well, Mears' 1979 Indy 500 winner was a PC6 so I'm going to stay away from those decals at this point (last two pics are PC6's also). Pancho is won in the PC7 so I'll be thinking about him. Anyone with pics from the '79 and '80 Indy 500 would be loads of help! Jordan

I just found the Fine Scale Modeller Issue that shows how to do this conversion if anyone is interested.
Email me at sbenford@cosma.com and I will send it to you.

Hi ya Stu,
That article was written by good friend and mentor Bill Gebhard. Bill was a good old boy and is "behind" many of the models that we are building today. He did many vac-form bodies that later became some resin kits and conversions. I met Bill only once in 1993. Bill died a few years ago and I miss him. He also did an article on how to build Bobby Rahal's March "Budweiser" March road course car. Bill was a neat guy.
Best to you
Russ

Thanks for the post Russ. Bill did sound like a great guy. It's too bad that whoever obtained Bill's masters hasn't done anything with them.
