Good Lord Michael, you've been a busy guy. When I have the space to build something, I'll be buying the Mario speedway sheet for my kit. It has to be better than the decals that came with the kit. Thanks!

This is great Michael. I've wanted to do the Target car for quite awhile. Plans for any more? I would love to see Teo Fabi's #8 Pennzoil, Danny Sulivan's #7 Molson and of course Little Al's Valvoline car.

I agree Paul. A Danny Molson and Little Al Valvoline would be awesome. Same with Scoot Goodyear McKenzee. (Spl?)
We aren't asking for much are we! ;D

AAAwww.....Michael! Now you come out with the speedway version of Nigel's car, after I went and canablized other decal sets and finally had to use some of Patto's decals. This would've saved me sooooo much trouble. That's me though, always "a day late and a dollar short!" Well, on a serious note I'm really glad to see these decals. I do have a Jorgensen 93 Lola in 1/25 scale and now I am really having truoble on which scheme to build it in. Not like you have enough to do ;D, but I too would like to see the Valvoline decals for a number of different years. Namely 88,89,90, 92 and 93. However, I would deviate from the others and love to see the MGD decals for Rahal during the same time. Just suggestions Michael.... I'll be sending my order shortly for the new decals. Jim

One decal sheet I will not do: The MGD Rahal decals. Nothing to do with the driver or sponsor, but that yellow is a (expletive deleted) to do.

Since we are talking about 1/20 93 Lolas I cant make up my mind if I should convert a 93 into a 90 Lola to make a 1990 Winner. Gosh darn it! I day dream too much!

Refresh my memory . . . .
The Tamiya kit has Ford Cosworth engine and weren't there just a few cars running that engine in 1993?

Yeah, but that doesn't mean you can't do curbside.
What I found interesting is the Ford powered Target car carried contingency sponsorship from Delco batteries... isn't Delco GM?

OK, ok, ok, I've been holding on to a Jorgensen 93 Penske in hopes of doing the MGD car from the 94 500, but that's not as important as the Volvoline cars. I was just adding my preference on other cars. I would definately settle for the Volvoline car, that would be great! Thanks Michael for filling me in on the color problem. I also have to add that I'm glad I bought a bunch of both the Tamiya Lola road and speedway cars over the years when they've been $9.00 or less. I'll be kept pretty busy with all the decals! I don't think we'll be finding the Lolas that reasonable anymore! Jim

I don't think we'll be finding the Lolas that reasonable anymore! Well the bigger problem is I highly doubt that Tamiya will ever re-issue them so.....if Michael keeps making these great decals for them they might be gone before you know it Plus they are easy to build. I built mine in like less than 6hrs of combine time LOL

I wouldn't be surprised if they're reissued. The seemed to have gone in and out of production over the years.

Hobby Link Japan has the Duracell car for $17.45 right now.
My current inventory is 2 of the Duracell cars and 1 of the Newman Haas cars. Now I wish had a couple more.

Oops, be careful what you wish for. In doing some research for my Target Lola effort today, I read in Racer magazine that both Galles cars, and I can now see from my photos of Fabi's Pennzoil car, were running Indy with some road course aero. To do one of these cars as they ran at Indy in 1993 would require kitbashing both the Newmass Hass kit and the Duracell kit. Wings from the Duracell kit on the Newman Hass kit.
