I am thrilled to have found this website. I am 69 and have been building models since I was a kid. My first were the original issues of the Kurtis 500C. I am not in the class of most of you but I am an avid Indy fan. I worked for USAC as a serial scorer beginning with the 1963 race; stopped in 1978 and began again in 1996 with the IRL. I love reading your posts. You are just great problem solvers. I manage to build three or four cars a year but have more kits than I will ever be able to build. I guess I need to begin to sell some of them since my kids wouldn't know what to do with them. Anyway, it is great to read and learn from all of you.
